Debbie is a 23 year old journalism graduate, freelance writer and lover & supporter of independent, Australian music.

After starting off interning in the beauty industry, and deciding she couldn't handle writing another article on the importance of coconut oil, she decided to face her fears and aimed to turn her love of music into a career. So far it's been working out.

Over the past five years, Debbie has been lucky enough to write for some of Australia's most exciting and passionate music publications, shoot festivals, curate lists/playlists, and liaise with artists, labels and PR companies; working with the likes of Pilerats, triple j Unearthed and FBi Radio, and festivals as varied as Listen Out, Mountain Sounds and the newly launched Good Things. You can find her regularly frolicking around gigs in Sydney.

In-between listening to a bunch of awesome bands, she also spends her time co-managing a sneaker store, one that’s ranked #1 in the country for a brand that’s always been a little off the wall. Both her and her team are firm believers in both working and playing hard.

She's probably seen your band play.
